Our Ambition

Human life is a journey; every individual evolves, in this journey, out of the interplay of the organismic tendency of the individual and the environment in which the individual is situated. For some individuals this journey is smooth, others encounter difficulties in sailing through the ocean of life.

COMPASSION comes forward to be with any individual it comes across who finds it difficult to move forward in his or her journey, and enables the individual to sail through with greater strength resulting in a fulfilling life.

Our Aim

COMPASSION aspires to produce mental health professionals who can provide quality service in the area of mental health for promotion, prevention and cure; Alleviating prevalent stigma and discrimination related with mental health conditions. Providing mental health service to people of various sectors for bringing about significant positive change in their well-being and thereby enhancing their quality of life and promoting health literacy in the area of mental health.

Message from the President

Heartily welcome to COMPASSION !
We want to grow in a group. With a view to doing this we pledge not only to know ourselves in more and more enlightening way,but also to know others, understand their suffering and take appropriate initiative that enables them to grow significantly.

We believe in the hymn of Upanishads - Vasudhaiva kutumbakam (We all belong to one Grand Global Family).
